The Oregon Trucking Association Respects Your Privacy:

Any personal information you provide to us including and similar to your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address will not be released, sold, or rented to any entities or individuals outside of Oregon Trucking Associations without your permission.

Online Privacy of Member Information

In order to protect online privacy, the Oregon Trucking Association (OTA) keeps e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, mail addresses and other information secure. OTA protects the security of personal data by using password-protected areas and restricting access.

The security of your payment information during transmission is protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of your personal information, including name, address, and credit card number, so that it can travel safely over the Internet. The entire credit card number is submitted to the appropriate credit card company during order processing, but only the first and last four digits of your credit card numbers are accessible to designated staff via a password-protected interface. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Membership Directory

At the request of our members, the Official Membership Directory is available online as a searchable database. Using the established “Supplier” and “Transporter” search tools, visitors to the OTA website are able to look for companies that meet a business need. If you do not wish to be included in the online directory search, you must notify OTA requesting to be removed from the directory listing. The Official Membership Directory is not designed to be used as a commercial mailing list and will not be shared with non-members for such a purpose.

Collection and Use of Personal Membership Data

OTA collects personal information about OTA members to be used solely for the purpose of conducting the following core business activities:

·         Billing

·         Inviting members to events and activities

·         Tracking membership trends, developing membership characteristics, producing demographic analysis, and supporting membership retention

·         Distribution of timely industry- and OTA-related news (opt-in/out options available)

OTA will give members the opportunity to decline the release of their personal information in the event the OTA board decides to participate in special marketing initiatives.
