2018 Trucking Legislative Reception
Amadeus Restaurant, Salem, OR - March 1, 2018
OTA board members met in Salem for a day at the Capitol where they met with legislators and listened to presentations. Afterward, everyone gathered at Amadeus Restaurant to conclude the 2018 short legislative session. The event was also a (secret) tribute to Bob Russell, OTA's Vice President/Government Affairs, who unofficially had announced his retirement last fall. A few legislators spoke about their experience working with Bob, and some even came prepared with a musical tribute! Bob was a true asset to OTA, and he will be missed. We wish him the best of luck in all his future retirement adventures!
