FMCSA LAUNCHES WEBSITE FOR DRUG AND ALCOHOL CLEARINGHOUSE
FMCSA has launched a new website with information about the upcoming implementation of its CDL Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, which employers will be required to use beginning January 2020. Resources include fact sheets, FAQs and a place to sign up for email updates. The rule, finalized in late 2016, impacts all CDL holders who operate on public roads. FMCSA says the clearinghouse will be a secure online database allowing all stakeholders to identify in real time CDL holders who have violated federal drug and alcohol testing requirements.
