Mark Colson will become ATA president and CEO on December 1. Colson most recently served as president and CEO of the Alabama Trucking Association since 2019; he’ll continue to lead the association through November. Colson also held roles on ATA’s Strategic Priorities Committee and Truck PAC Board of Directors, as well as the American Transportation Research Institute’s (ATRI’s) Research Advisory Committee. Prior to that role, he held various leadership positions with the Business Council of Alabama from 2007 to 2019. His educational background focused on business administration.
