Oregon Truck Driving Championships

TDC Web Banner 2024

The Oregon Truck Driving Championships (ORTDC) showcases the skills and knowledge of Oregon's truck drivers. OTA's Safety Management Council hosts the annual event that puts the focus on the industry's dedication to keep all drivers safe on the road.

ORTDC is also the opportunity for the public to see exactly what's involved in operating heavy-duty vehicles. Friends, family, colleagues and others are invited to help OTA celebrate trucking and all of its essential workers. This event is free and open to the public!

2024 Oregon Truck Driving Championships

Saturday, April 27 @ FedEx Freight - Portland, OR
OTA and the Safety Management Council (SMC) are getting an early start on the TDC this year, with a shift to a spring timeframe.

Drivers: Register now! The two-step registration process must be completed by April 22, 2024. The Driver Participation Guide has all of the details you need.

Spectators: As always, everyone is invited to come out and cheer on their favorite drivers and celebrate Oregon's trucking industry! There is no cost to attend.

Volunteers: We're counting on your support once again. From setup, to logistics and judging - we need help coordinating all of TDC's moving pieces (trucks, people, equipment, etc.). Click here for more details on volunteer opportunities.

NTDC 2024 - The Superbowl of Trucking Safety

The winner of each equipment class will be eligible to represent the Oregon at the National Truck Driving Championships in Indianapolis, IN, August 21 - 24, 2024. The Championships are a great incentive for professional truck drivers to operate safely, because they must be accident-free for at least one year prior to the competition. Many of the competitors have millions of accident-free driving miles to their credit.
